Skincare Review : Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion

by - Isnin, Julai 15, 2019

Hello everyone. We are back to the skincare reading session! First some information

Skin type: Oily-combination

Okay, firstly I've been using this toner ((Japanese skin care industry addressed toner as a lotion)) for 1 year. So I could finally give u guys the review! But some clarification I wanna make, this is the Light type that I'd been using. There is a lot of another type such as Premium Hydrating, Premium Whitening, Lifting+Firming,  it all differs based on what your skin needs.  So as for me, my skin is oily then Light is the best. And yeah, this particular product cost me RM60++

*wow, what a boring introduction... I don't know guys I've been resting a lot from writing so I guess I've become effected 😭 so emm bear with me guys if in case there's any cringing content... BEAR WITH ME*

Okay, we're back... so this product had done an amazing job to my face. I mean before this I don't have any major hydrating products except for aloe vera?? I mean I need to have a stronger hydrating agent on my face. Basically, this product contains hyaluronic acid which is like good hydrating ingredients in a skincare product. So what hyaluronic acid does is attracting water molecule to your face so your face looks glowing and hydrating!

I still wear aloe vera as an addition to my hydrating routine. Aloe vera contains humectant which ALSO hydrates the skin but only for a certain amount of time. So it would be good to add this hada labo product in my everyday routine.

So does it brings a glow to my face? Well... it does but it doesn't have any major effects on my skin. But it does makes my skin feel good though. I mean I do 'feel' hydrated and fresh. And I can still see the difference from my previous skin, I look pretty much more glowy ((still in improvement kan even though sikit xD ))

What about the texture? It is so lightweight almost like water. But if I'm not mistaken, there are some that have thick consistency such as under the Premium range.

How I wear it? Like normal, apply it after you cleanse your face. Then I put 2 to 3 drops on my palm, then pat it lightly on my face (( did I say 'pat it lightly' ??? nahhh...but still do it properly guys ahahaha )) no need cotton pad!! Nope, you don't need it. This hada labo website also said that you just need to pat it okay because it acts like a ..good things.. to put on your skin. Once this skincare blogger said that toner is not used to clean the residue that left on your skin after cleansing, so no need cotton pad to wipe it and so on. If there is still a residue left, then that is your cleanser's fault!! bLaMe the cleanser!!

The downside of the product is thatttt .... most of the people I've read that giving their review said this product does not suitable with their skin...SO make sure you tested it out first okyy. Other downsides?? Nah for me this product is quite okay. The packaging also nice nothing bad about it. It also has the travel size 30 mL, so yeahhhhh it's good and handy

Would I repeat it? Absolutely yes. I mean it is quite a good simple product for hydrating before you opt for other stronger hydrating product such as essence and serum.  And yeah it also lasts long, its been 1 year now but I still half more left in the bottle.

Sooooooo, make a wise choice on buying it hehe I already give my review so it's on you! Bye and may Allah bless our lives every day.
