Welcome

Day 1: I play dress up.. Yes I did. I bring back some of my favourite clothes knowing damn well I'm not going out but only for the sake of dressing up.  ((kinda want to show u guys my favourite but well maybe later))
There's no one at home when I do this.. because not in hell I'm doing it when my families are around. I'm shy and I'm a fashionista disaster soo no need to embarrassed myself even more in front of my whole family.

Day 2: I did my self-reflection for my assignment. Congrats to me for having adequate energy to do this. Spend most of my time in bed while finishing this task. The rest is pretty much nothing

Day 3: Finished doing a personal write-up. It is an assignment for an English subject. Yayy kudos to me again for able to finish doing a 'thing'. Because the rest of it is just pretty much me staring my phone.

Day 4:

Just look at Saturday. The day pretty much just '-'. Like no explanation needed..

Day 5:  As from the picture above. I should finish answering 2 years of past year exams and pre lab. Did i do it? absolutely yes BUT instead of 2 years, i just answer only 1 question and as for pre lab i stopped after i finished writing the title. How productive that is...

Day 6: Nope. Nothing.

Day 7: i did quite a lot of things today. What is it? oh yes i finally finished watching final episode of Romantic Dr, Teacher Kim 2 and now I'm moving forward for another K-dramas, Crash Landing On You. Yes i am a bit late but i STILL MADE it to watch it yesh :)

Side notes: 4 from this 7 days I constantly make dalgona coffees/milo, its just some alternative ways to keep me busy without needing me having fancy ingredients..

Bye. Stay at home.

Hello guys. Today i will be talking about book of Bird Box by Josh Malerman which was getting people's attention through the movie adaptation on Netflix.

I honestly did not know how book review works.. but i do know how to compare between the movie and book... sooooo lets goo!!

1. The Housemates

In the movie the housemates were Tom, Douglas (the bald ones), Olympia, Felix (who ran out together with Lucy from the house using car), Lucy, Cheryl (the old lady), Charlie (the man who came up with conspiracies), Gary (the mf who tear the curtains down) and Greg (the one who died form the CCTV/owner of house)

While in the books Douglas, Lucy, Charlie, Greg does not exist. Instead, there characters like

  •  Don - one of the original housemate. He is the type that quite reluctant when it comes to a newcomer at the house including Gary. This man has been influenced by Gary about the theories that the 'creatures' are not harmful. At one point, Gary was caught by Malorie when he reads in his book saying about "..tear the blanket down..". The housemates agree to kick Gary from the house. But Don secretly has sneaked in Gary inside the cellar. Sadly, Don died too when trying to reach the cellar but it was not described. In the book it has mentioned " ..as if he raced there, mad, to ask Gary for his mind back"
  • Jules- he's the second bravest after Tom. He and Tom went outside blindfold for two times to collect foods and other necessities while other housemates stay. Have a dog named Victor. Victor later died as they don't know that animals are also affected by the creatures.
  • George- basically Greg in the movie. Because he is the owner of the house and died from watching the 'creatures' through a computer screen

2. About Tom

Tom is a white guy and not black. Some of Malorie's describes of him:"..Tom has blondish brown hair. His features are strong. His blue eyes flare with intelligence. He's not much taller than Malorie. Unshaven, his stubble is almost red." He was indeed the most thoughtful ones in the house.

He actually died earlier together with the rest of housemates when the house was exposed to the 'creatures'. The condition of Tom's death was not described.

3. About Malorie's sister

Malorie's sister in the book is Shannon while in the movie it is Jessica.
In the book, Malorie's sister died in the bathroom with a scissor stabbed in her chest. While in the movie, she died after hitting by a truck.

4. The one who pull of the blanket is not Gary.

It is Don. He's been influenced by Gary that the creatures are not dangerous

5. The rumours about Malorie and her children are blinded when arriving at the Jane Tucker Blind school

No, they are not been blinded. Initially, that is the way things were done when there is new person coming due to there is a tragedy had happen before in the blind school because of people who can still see.  But, things had changed now as they will accept people without blinding them

This is some of the points that I can highlight. All in all it was still a great book and the movie is not far different from the movie, which is kudos to the director and the film team! Hope people enjoy knowing some extra information that is not in the movie hehe
